Wooden pots were used to keep foods in the past, and are still used in a few places in Nepal today.

These wooden pots are used to keep milk, curd, ghee, and other culinary items, depending on their size and shape. Metal, ceramic, and plastic pots have mostly supplanted hardwood pots in recent years.

The size and appearance of each one varies slightly.
